We love our sticks and stones! Our little one uses the stick to stand on to watch 8ut the window. I gave 4 stars because I wish the sticks were a bit sturdier. Other than that, very happy with the product!
I ordered this back when it was called the “lava set”. My boys are too young for the floor is lava game but we still use this set often.
I use the sticks to support builds and so far, the stones mostly get used as pillows for a pillow pit or for pillow fights. Lol
It’s most common use for us is as arm rests for couch mode.
I do like that both pieces are light enough for my boys to move around.
I was gifted these to try and they were played with but definitely not as much as the Joey or wedges alone. My daughter is 22 months old so also doesn’t get the concept of ‘floor is lava’ yet either but loves the sticks to stand on as a wobbly balance beam. If you’re considering add-ons, these are an affordable choice but if able, I would spend more to get the wedges or traps as they’ll likely get used more.
Originally ordered these to use the sticks as balance beams but after reading many reviews, decided against it for fear of ankle or other injury it may cause from the kiddies falling off them. They're not as stable due to the lack of surface area and currently considering traps as an alternative option. Other than that, they are fun for builds and other pretend play activities
My 1 and 3 year old love the stepping stones! Im hoping they will love the sticks more as they get a little older. My parents got them a bunch of joey stuff earlier this year and its been very loved so far.
